**Product Description:**
Our hard chrome piston rods are manufactured using high-quality JIS S45C material, ensuring excellent durability and performance. The rods undergo precision milling and surface chromium treatment, achieving a surface finish of f7 and a hardness of at least HV800. This not only enhances wear resistance but also significantly extends the service life of the rods, offering cost savings for our customers.
We conduct corrosion resistance testing in our internal salt spray laboratory. The surface heat treatment ensures a hardness of HRC55±2° with a hardened depth ranging between 0.5mm and 3mm. After precision machining, the hard chrome plating is applied with a thickness of 20 microns ±10%, greatly improving wear resistance and prolonging the lifespan of the rods.
**1. Chrome Plated Steel Bars:**
These bars are made from medium carbon cold-finished or hot-rolled steel, typically 1045 grade. They are centerless ground, polished, and chrome-plated with a minimum thickness of 0.0005" per side. These bars are ideal for use in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.
**2. Induction Hardened Chrome Plated Bars:**
Produced using advanced techniques on JIS S45C, SAE 1045, or DIN CK45 steel rods, these bars go through polishing, induction hardening, and hard chrome plating. The result is a strong, impact-resistant bar suitable for demanding environments.
**Applications:**

**3. Cold Drawn Seamless Mechanical Tubing (CDS):**
This is a cold-drawn 1020 steel tube, produced from hot-rolled bar stock. The cold drawing process improves physical properties, reduces machine time costs, and provides better OD/ID uniformity, machinability, strength, and tighter tolerances compared to hot-rolled tubing.
**Applications:**
Hydraulic cylinders, truck and automotive parts, heavy equipment, agricultural components, auto and truck axles, suspension parts, shock absorbers, high-speed shafts, rollers, bearings, spacers, roll cages, and other tubular parts.
