If an enterprise has just launched a new car, within a few hours, hundreds of attacks on this model will appear on the Internet. However, the target user group of this car is not a private car owner. Why would so many cars appear to be like private car users? child? This has to pay attention to some of the things behind this. “There are indeed some things that are unclear and invisible in the current auto market.” Chen Zhixin, the general manager of Shanghai Volkswagen, also expressed the same opinion when talking with reporters. From the embarrassment to the rumor, on the background of the current slowdown in the growth of the Chinese auto market and the serious impact on sales of many companies, I really feel that an impetuous revolving around the auto market is spreading. Skulls, slanders, and attacks are a kind of impetuousness; and, at the moment, another kind of impetuousness is also raging: slashing, changing, short-term behavior. It is understood that at least three leading companies responsible for marketing sales have already finished their classes within this month. In fact, the current changes in the automotive market, we can find reasons from many aspects, there is no need for such "action." The influence of the macroeconomic regulation and control of the country’s economy, including changes in automobile credit policies, is the fundamental reason for the cooling of the auto market. At the same time, various auto companies have increased their target output in the past two years with high growth, which has greatly increased sales pressure. Once the market fluctuates, the most sensitive is the price of the car. The manufacturer's price cuts have led to changes in consumer psychological expectations, showing that in the market is sales stagnation. Some people say that this is basically the reason for the high price of the car. I can't dare to conclude so simply. However, I firmly believe that some companies are certainly falling into a strange circle. As far as I know, there are currently many models whose prices have fallen below the value. In other words, some companies have already earned and lost money. In addition, we look at the impact of the current auto market on companies and there are some interesting phenomena. For example, the impact of old companies is greater than that of new ones; the European Department’s cars are more affected than the American Department’s cars, Japanese cars, and Korean cars. From the sales figures in recent months, we can see that the “oldest” companies—Shanghai Volkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen, and Shenlong—are facing more difficulties than other competitors. It is worth noting that in the process of this turmoil in the auto market, technologies, quality and services that are core elements of competitiveness have not played a significant role. Like the three companies mentioned above, they are definitely not lower in technology than their competitors. I remember that during the Beijing Auto Show, a company executive told me about the gap between Chinese autos and international standards. I told him that the difference, the Chinese car may exist forever. It is more important to study the current situation and find the right direction than to find the gap.
