Among the main products, 76 kinds of products showed a double-digit increase in output; some of the key products showed an outstanding growth in the month.
Production and sales growth slightly increased
From January to April, the production and sales of machinery industry continued to grow steadily. The industry's total industrial output value reached 2,687.139 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.03%, and the growth rate increased by 0.22 percentage points from the previous month. From January to April, the sales value of the entire industry was 2.618851 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.96%. The growth rate fell slightly from the previous month, but increased by 2.17 percentage points from the beginning of the year. From the comparison of the growth rate of total output value and sales output value between January and April of last year, the growth rates of production and sales have dropped by 2.35 and 1.3 percentage points respectively from the same period of last year, but they have all increased at different levels from the beginning of the year.
The growth rate of new products has increased significantly
From January to April, the output value of new products of the whole industry was 507.145 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.52%. From the perspective of the entire industry, the growth rate of the output value of new products was lower than the industrial output value by 5.51 percentage points. However, depending on the industry, there are five industries where the growth rate of new product output value is higher than the total output value, followed by: agricultural machinery industry, cultural office machinery industry, construction machinery industry, basic parts and machine tool industry. The growth rate of new products in the agricultural machinery industry was 26.53 percentage points higher than the total output value. On the one hand, the production and sales of the agricultural machinery industry has accelerated significantly this year, which has led to the growth of new products. On the other hand, the reason for the low base last year was also caused.
Decline in export delivery value growth
Affected by many factors at home and abroad, the growth rate of export delivery values ​​has significantly declined since the second half of last year. From January to April, the total export delivery value of the industry reached 406.816 billion yuan, an increase of 24.63% year-on-year. The growth rate was 9.15 percentage points lower than the same period of last year (33.78%), and it was 1.64 percentage points lower than the previous month. The sectors with significant declines from the previous month were: food packaging industry, instrumentation industry, petrochemical general industry, cultural office industry, automobile and agricultural machinery industry, all dropped by more than 2%.
