The steel gears, when immersed in oil and subjected to high-speed friction, can generate heat or even sparks, increasing the risk of fire or explosion. In some special situations, customers require two-way transmission (not simultaneously). Using a standard twin-screw pump would necessitate setting up two separate transmission lines, which increases costs and complexity.
