UV aging test chamber/Accelerated weathering test chamber
The UV aging test chamber simulates the effect of sunlight with fluorescent ultraviolet(UV) lamps and carry out these circles automatically.While it simulates rain and dew with condensing humidity or waterspray.In a few days or weeks,the UV can reproduce the damage that occurs over months or years outdoors.The damages include fading,color change,chalking,cracking,crazing,embrittlement,strength loss.,etc.The test data can help you to select the new materials or improve the performance of materials.Chamber cover introduces the two-way flip type for easy opening and closing.Test specimen and the shelf constitute the trapezidal inner wall of the chamber.
 
Experimental Methods:
Fix the samples on shelves and face the fluorescent lamp.There are not enough samples for selves,please fill it with black board to make sure the test chamber sealed.Testing temperature:can adopt 50,60 or 70ºC.Recommend 60ºC for test,temperature of condensation is 50°C,temperature fluctuation is ±3°C.The cycle of condensation includes two cycles:1, 4 hour UV lamp and 4 hour condensation; 2, 8 hour UV lamp and 4 hour condensation.

Since the SMC is a fast curing system, the quick closing of the press is important. If the press is closed too slowly after feeding, it is easy to appear pre-cured patch on the surface of the product, or it may be short of material or oversized. While achieving rapid closure, the mold closing speed should be carefully adjusted at the end of the press stroke to slow down the closing process and facilitate the exhaust.

Molding Pressure The SMC forming pressure varies with the structure, shape, size, and degree of SMC thickening. The simple shape of the product requires only 25-30Mpa of molding pressure; the shape of the complex product, molding pressure can reach 140-210Mpa. The higher the degree of SMC thickening, the greater the molding pressure required.
The size of the molding pressure is also related to the mold structure. The forming pressure required for the vertical parting structure mold is lower than that of the horizontal parting structure mold. A mold with a smaller gap requires a higher pressure than a mold with a larger gap.
