Fluidized Bed Bioreactor for Hepatocytes Cell Culture

Fixed-Fluidized bed bioreactor, also known as basket-type bioreactor, is applicable for anchorage dependent cell culture such as animal cell, insect cell, etc. BHK/BSR, VERO, CHO, MDCK, 293, MARK145, PKlS, MRC-5 cells have been successfully cultured. 

Stainless steel bioreactor 
The stainless steel bioreactor adopts modular design and is customized according to user's requirements. It is capable of CIP, SIP, auto-lift of lid, cold point monitor of sterilization, data storage and remote monitor, etc. When cultured in fixed-fluidized bed, cells enter polyester disc, eliminate damage from impeller's shear force and reduce the foam influence from gas sparger, which makes cells stay in a relative static state and prevent cells from shedding easily. Long maintenance time greatly increases harvesting and decreases the DNA content of host cell in harvest solution.

Application 
• Batch, feeding or continuous perfusion culture of anchorage dependent cells such as animal cells, insect cells, etc. Mainly applied in cell secretory products, such as genetic recombinant protein and virus, etc. 
• Pilot scale sample preparation and industrial scale production.
