The key point is that these LED lighting units can be automatically opened and closed according to road conditions, thereby controlling the illumination area, brightness, and the like of the high beam. How to judge the road condition and realize the automatic adjustment of the high beam? The secret is the camera behind the windshield. The camera is responsible for monitoring road information and feeding back information to four control units that adjust the headlights to the appropriate lighting state at a frequency of 100 times per second. The magic of the MULTIBEAMLED headlights doesn't stop there. Each headlight also includes a module for the low beam mode, which consists of four LED lighting units. If the camera detects a curve in front, the MULTIBAMAMLED headlight will automatically adjust the direction of the light deflection to the curve. The maximum deflection angle can reach 12 degrees, which is convenient for the driver to understand the road ahead. It is worth mentioning that Audi's matrix LED headlights (MatrixLED) are similar to the Mercedes-Benz MULTIBAM LED headlights. The actual effect of the MULTIBEAMLED headlights has yet to be verified by the market. At least for sure, it will not be so helpless in the future when facing the high beam enthusiasts.
