I. Abstract:

Leaded by academician Xue Qikun of Tsinghua University, a team of researchers from Tsinghua University, Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Stanford University made a major breakthrough in the study of quantum anomalous Hall effect. Quantum anomalous Hall effect was observed for the first time in experiments. Haller Hall discovered in 1880 that the abnormal Hall effect finally realized the quantification of the anomalous Hall effect after 133 years. This is an important physical phenomenon observed independently by scientists in China, and it is also an important scientific discovery in the world's basic research field.




Scientists of our country discovered the quantum anomalous Hall effect for the first time in the world and were hailed by the famous physicist Professor Yang Zhenning as the scientific research achievement of “Nobel Prize”. On April 13, 2013, the CCTV's focus talk show reported scientific achievements. The success of the scientific experiment experienced more than 1,000 days and nights, and a large number of experiments were done.
