Building a data center? IDC data center four requirements to understand

The data center computer room design integrates many professional technologies such as architecture, structure, electrical, HVAC, water supply and drainage, fire protection, network, and intelligence. The IDC room should have the characteristics of “good safety, reliability and non-stop”.
How to ensure the data center to play a good security performance, and reliable and uninterrupted work, in the construction of the data center should follow the following requirements:
Power system requirements

8. The Class A electronic information system room should be equipped with a backup diesel generator system. When the mains fails, the backup diesel generator should be able to bear the full load.
9. Switching between mains and diesel generators should use an automatic transfer switch with bypass function. When the automatic transfer switch is overhauled, it should not affect the switching of the power supply.
10. The existing electricity consumption of the Information Management Office is: 50Kw/h. If it is expanded to all units in the city, the calculation of 10 times is expected to be 500Kw/h (only a rough estimate). However, in order to meet the demand for electricity in the future, we will increase the power supply capacity as much as possible.
Fire protection requirements

1. General regulations

(2) The fire extinguishing system controller should control the damper and damper of the machine room before the fire extinguishing equipment is operated, and stop the air conditioner and exhaust fan, and cut off the non-fire power supply.
(3) The design parameters such as the water spray intensity and effective area of the sprinkler system shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the current national standard “Design Code for Automatic Sprinkler Systems” GB50084.
Static, lightning and grounding requirements

Electrostatic protection
(1) The floor or ground of the main room and auxiliary area should have static discharge measures and grounding structure. The surface resistance or volume resistance of anti-static floor and floor should be 2.5×104~1.0×109Ω, and it should be fireproof and environmentally friendly. , stain resistance and wear resistance.
(2) The working surface of the main room and the auxiliary area should be made of static electricity or static dissipative materials.
(3) The metal casing, all kinds of metal pipes, metal trunking, metal structures of buildings, etc. of all equipment in the electronic information system room must be equipotentially connected and grounded.
(4) The connection line of electrostatic grounding should have sufficient mechanical strength and chemical stability, and welding or crimping should be adopted. When the conductive adhesive is bonded to the grounding conductor, the contact area should not be less than 20cm2.
2. Lightning protection and grounding
(1) The lightning protection and grounding design of the electronic information system room should meet the requirements of personal safety and the normal operation of the electronic information system, and should comply with the current national standards "Building Lightning Protection Design Code" GB50057 and "Building Electronic Information System Prevention". Lei technical specifications "GB50343 relevant provisions.
(2) Protective grounding and functional grounding should share a set of grounding devices, and the grounding resistance should be determined according to the minimum value.
(3) Electronic information equipment in the electronic information system room should be equipotential bonding. The equipotential bonding method should be determined according to the frequency of electronic information equipment susceptible to interference and the level and scale of the electronic information system room.
Computer room monitoring requirements
1. General regulations
(1) The electronic information system room should be equipped with an environment and equipment monitoring system and a safety precaution system. The design of each system should be based on the grade of the equipment room, according to the current national standard "Safety Engineering Technical Specifications" GB50348 and "Intelligent Building Design Standards" GB/ T50314 and the requirements of Appendix A of this specification are implemented.
(2) The environment and equipment monitoring system should adopt a distributed or distributed network structure. The system should be easy to expand and maintain, and should have display, record, control, alarm, analysis, and prompt functions.
(3) The environment and equipment monitoring system and safety precaution system can be set in the same monitoring center. The power supply of each system should be reliable. It should be powered by independent uninterruptible power supply system. When using centralized uninterruptible power supply system power supply, Separate loop power distribution.
