Common accidents and prevention techniques in mine roadway construction

Common accidents during roadway construction are: roof fall accident, suspension and lifting accidents, floods, accidents, fires, gas coal dust and other accidents the main shaft construction.

Third, flood accidents

During the construction of the tunnel, the groundwater in the rock formation and the surface water connected to the underground suddenly surge into the underground space, and flood accidents may occur.

Fourth, fire accidents

Fire accidents during construction of wells can be divided into external fires and internal fires depending on the source of fire.

The use of open flames, electrical ignition or mechanical friction to generate electric sparks, gas and coal dust explosions may cause external fires; coal is oxidized at room temperature to generate heat, which may cause coal to spontaneously ignite and cause internal fires.

V. Gas coal dust accident

Gas coal dust accidents in well construction may generally occur when the wellbore uncovers the coal seam or when it enters the mining roadway.
