First, the magnetic filter
The magnetic filter is a kind of magnet equipped with a vacuum filter. The structure of the external filter magnetic filter is shown in Figure 1. The magnetic filter is mainly composed of a filter cartridge, a magnetic pole and a feeding tank. The process is as follows: the magnetic slurry is fed into the tank from above the side of the cylinder. The filter cake is removed by the scraper.

The equipment is suitable for processing magnetic concentrates with a content of +0.147 mm and +0.074 mm, respectively, of 5.0% and 30%. Our Panzhihua Iron and Steel and other large mineral processing plants are using a magnetic filter, the better. The feed particle size is 0.4-0.1 mm, and the filter cake is not divided into 10-11 m2. The magnetic filter has a production capacity of about 50-60 tons/hour.
The structure of the 20 m 2 permanent magnet internal filter manufactured by Shenyang Mining Machinery Factory is shown in Figure 2. Its working principle is the same as that of the permanent magnet outer filter. The equipment was widely used in large iron ore dressing plants after the successful development of Anshan Iron and Steel in the 1970s. Its working index is close to the permanent magnet external filter vacuum filter, and the feeding mode is the same as that of the cylindrical inner filter vacuum filter (slot discharge).

The MTFF-type magnetic filter made in Sweden is mounted on the surface of the feeding tank and filter cartridge with a special sealing device to reduce wear and prolong the service life by up to 2,500 hours. There is also an automatic safety device that automatically stops working when overloaded to prevent damage to the machine. The upper feeding material eliminates the phenomenon of slurry sedimentation and makes full use of the effect of gravity sedimentation, so that the coarse particles are first adsorbed, and the fine particles are located on the surface of the filter cake to prevent the filter cloth from being clogged, forming an ideal cluster-like adsorption state, and the water permeability is good. , increased filter production capacity.
Second, magnetic separation filter
The magnetic separation filter has the dual function of sorting and dehydration. When it is used to sort magnetite, the production effect of the permanent magnetic cylinder magnetic separator can be obtained. The resulting concentrate has little water, but is slightly higher than the filter cake moisture of a typical vacuum filter.
The structure of the magnetic separation filter is shown in Figure 3. The magnetic separation filter works in, and the slurry to be selected is uniformly distributed from the ore supply phase to the internal separation box, and fully suspended. The magnetic ore particles in the slurry are attracted by the magnetic poles and attached to the filter cloth outside the drum. The non-magnetic gangue is not attracted by the magnetic poles, and continues to flow forward with the flow, and the tailings port is discharged outside the machine. The magnetic concentrate adsorbed on the surface of the filter cloth rotates toward the filter cake discharge direction along with the drum, and magnetically rolls over with the magnetic poles in the drum, thereby further removing mechanical non-magnetic substances, thereby improving the magnet essence. Mineral grade. When the concentrate is transferred to the filtration zone, the magnetic field is removed, and the sorting process is terminated to start dehydration. By means of vacuum suction, the moisture of the filter cake gradually decreases as the cylinder rotates. When the filter cake enters the unloading area, it falls into the concentrate funnel under the action of the blowing air pressure and the scraper. After the unloading of the cake, the filter cloth is transferred into the regeneration zone along with the cylinder, and is cleaned by the blowing and flushing, and the gas permeability is restored to start a working cycle.

Since the output of the machine is limited by the selection index, that is, when the rotation speed is constant, the maximum output is limited, so the moisture of the filter cake can only be reduced to a certain extent.
