Difference between POE power supply module and POE switch
Both the POE power supply module and the POE switch can supply power to the network terminal equipment, but there are still significant differences between them:
The 1POE power supply module supplies power to the device through the network cable, and the current is directly output. The POE switch negotiates with the device. The POE device outputs power. Otherwise, only data is exchanged.
2POE switches can work independently, can transmit data and power signals at the same time, and can be powered by connecting devices that need to be powered. The PoE power supply module needs to be used with the switch.

How to connect POE power supply modules
A complete POE system connection includes two parts: a power supply device (PSE, PowerSourcing Equipment) and a power receiving device (PD, PoweredDevice). Power supply equipment (PSE) such as: Ethernet switches, routers, hubs or other network switching equipment that support POE. Power receiving equipment (PD) such as: network camera (IPC), IP telephone, wireless LAN access point AP, etc.
As can be seen from the figure below, one port of the POE power supply module is connected to the socket, and the other port is connected to a power supply device such as a non-POE switch, a POE IP phone, a POE dome camera, a POE/non-POE AP access point, etc. The electric terminal device realizes that the data transmitted by the matching switch and the direct current carried by the switch are transmitted to the receiving end device to achieve the purpose of transmitting the data signal while providing the direct current.
