The reporter learned from the Guangzhou Tianhe Police today that a 30-year-old man jumped on the 7th floor of Tianhe City, the bustling downtown of the city, on the 21st. A preliminary police investigation revealed that the man had a history of mental illness. The police are currently conducting further investigations.
The police said that at 14 o'clock in the afternoon on July 21, the Tianhe police received a public alarm and said that someone in the Tianhe city had fallen from the building. After receiving the report, the police immediately sent personnel to the scene for disposal. 120 medical personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed that the person had died.
After preliminary investigation by the police, the man Luo Mou (30 years old, Yingde, Guangdong) jumped from the guardrail on the seventh floor of Tianhe City and fell to the first floor of the atrium and died. According to Luo's family members, Luomou had previously worked in the Pearl River Delta region. In recent years, he found that his mental status was abnormal. He had been treated in a hospital in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, and he was usually working in an agricultural home in Yingde.
On July 20, Luo Mou went to Guangzhou to see a doctor. At noon on the 21st, Luomou took the bus to the Tianhe City, followed by a fall event.
