The 20th academic annual meeting of the Chinese and Western Medicine Digestive Society was held in Shanghai. More than 200 representatives from experts, scholars and postgraduates of Chinese and Western medicine digestive diseases from all over the country attended the conference.
Academician Chen Kaixian, President of the Chinese Association of Chinese and Western Medicine, attended the conference and delivered an important speech. He called on delegates and colleagues at home to inspire the spirit of the national "Outline of the Plan for Innovative Development of Chinese Medicine", to unite and promote the integration of Chinese and Western medicine to digest diseases. The advantages of the discipline, continuous innovation and development of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and promote the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine. Professor Wang Wenjian, president of the Shanghai Association of Chinese and Western Medicines, attended the meeting and spoke on the development advantages of the Shanghai area in the field of integrated Chinese and Western medicine digestion.
The conference also invited famous domestic experts, including Wei Beihai, Xie Jianqun, Zhang Wanji, Liu Ping, Hu Fulian, and Fan Jiangao to make special reports on the combination of Chinese and Western medicine in gastrointestinal diseases, liver diseases, digestive system tumors, and spleen-stomach diseases of Chinese medicine.
In order to highlight young academic exchanges, this conference carried out academic reports of young committee members, established a youth academic committee (work group), set up youth forums and awards, and selected 6 outstanding youth papers.
