The output value of specialty chemicals was 339.95 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.4%, an increase of more than 30 percentage points from the same period of last year and an acceleration of 1.8 percentage points from January to February. The output value of synthetic materials was 288.37 billion yuan, an increase of 12.7%, and the growth rate was 27.5 percentage points lower than the same period of last year, which was the same as that of January-February.

The agrochemicals and rubber products industry maintained rapid growth. In the chemical industry, the growth rate of agricultural chemicals and rubber products in the first quarter was significantly higher. Among them, the output value of chemical fertilizers increased by 29.2%, an average increase of 11.5 percentage points higher than the chemical production value, accounting for 11.9%; the pesticide industry increased by 22.2%, also significantly higher than the average increase in chemical industry, accounting for 3.4%; the rubber product industry increased 21.4% , accounting for 11.1%.
