Volvo recalls safety hazard truck

Recently, Volvo (China) announced that it has recalled some imported 2011-2012 Volvo FM, FH trucks and chassis from July 20 due to safety hazards in the frame. According to the statistics of the company, there are a total of 279 vehicles in mainland China.

It is understood that the reason for this recall is that the heat shield installed on the frame may be broken due to fatigue caused by vibration. If it is dropped onto the starter motor, the starter motor circuit may be short-circuited, causing the vehicle power supply system to be short circuited. Flashing alarm, may cause fire if it is serious.

At present, Volvo (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has submitted a recall report to AQSIQ. It will release relevant information to the dealer network about vehicles that need to remove heat shields, and will immediately contact related users to recall.
