· Chevrolet recalls Corvette in the United States due to rear suspension failure

General Motors recalled 43 2015 Chevrolet Corvette sports cars in the United States due to rear suspension problems. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said the problem could reduce vehicle stability and steering control.

NHTSA mentioned in the recall: "The rear suspension of the affected vehicle's rear suspension toe link arm may not be properly tightened during assembly", "untightened toe-type connecting arms will reduce their effect and eventually separate from the vehicle." The separation can lead to reduced vehicle stability and controllability, increasing the risk of collisions.” The GM statement stated that a loose toe link could cause the rear suspension to “noisy metal noise, especially when the vehicle passed Turning or bumping and potholes."

Vehicles affected by the recall were manufactured between September 26, 2014 and October 2, 2014.

Among them, 28 vehicles have been sold, and the rest are still at dealers. These cars are inspected and repaired before they are sold.

Chevrolet dealers will inspect and replace damaged parts.
