Fog, energy saving and emission reduction give birth to the compressor market

Under the trend of energy saving and emission reduction, China has accelerated the development of the natural gas transportation industry, and has also given birth to the natural gas compressor market. As we all know, natural gas transportation mainly includes the transportation of natural gas vehicles and natural gas ships. After more than ten years of development, although the development of China's natural gas vehicles has begun to take shape, natural gas filling stations are extremely incompatible with natural gas vehicles, and natural gas transportation is still in its infancy. There are fewer natural gas ships and it is still in the experimental demonstration stage.
It is reported that China began to try natural gas vehicles in the 1950s. After decades of development, natural gas vehicles have been used in 31 provinces to varying degrees. However, from the perspective of the number of filling stations and the number of vehicles and gas used, natural gas transportation is still in its infancy. According to statistics, there are less than 3,000 natural gas refueling stations in the country. Compared with the existing 100,000 gas stations, there is a wide gap between the density and number of stations. In addition, there are fewer natural gas vehicles. As of the end of 2013, there were only 1.87 million vehicles, which was less than 1.4% compared with the national total of 137 million vehicles. At present, the average annual growth of natural gas in China is about 100,000 vehicles. Among them, the total number of taxis and buses using CNG (compressed natural gas) is more than 1.76 million, and the total number of buses, heavy trucks and intercity buses based on LNG (liquefied natural gas) is 110,000. The initial period of LNG vehicle research in China is mainly concentrated in the LNG passenger vehicle sector. From the perspective of the passenger transport market, niche bus companies in regions with abundant gas sources (such as Southwest China) occupy the stage. From the perspective of the freight market, domestic large-scale automobile plants and engine plants such as Dongfeng, Jiefang, Shangchai, Weichai, and Yuchai continue to increase product development efforts, and have successively launched their LNG truck products, which has greatly promoted the development of China's LNG truck market. . Relevant data show that China has more than 60 companies producing LNG vehicles, and more than 360 models have received new product announcements.
The research and application of LNG powered ships in China began in 2010. By the end of 2011, four diesel-powered vessels, namely Sucun 1260, Changxun 3, Wuhu Red 166, and Wuhan Ferry 302, were rebuilt to use LNG/ Diesel dual fuels were tested and demonstrated on the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and the Yangtze River route. There are two types of bulk fuel and tugboats, and the engine power covers 330, 440, and 105kW. At present, China's first LNG ship has been launched, and the first LNG filling station in the Yangtze River has been put into production.
The development prospects of natural gas vehicles and natural gas ships transportation are widely optimistic. In the future, promotion and use will require equipment supporting enterprises to provide corresponding technical support, among which the compressor industry must be mentioned. The construction of natural gas filling station network is the most important supporting condition and key link for the development of natural gas transportation. People familiar with the industry know that the construction of filling stations can not be separated from the support of compressors. In this regard, China's natural gas compressors and other equipment-providing industries should further strengthen technology research and development to accumulate experience for large-scale deployment and exploration of laws.
