A driver of an SUV was trapped following a one-car collision with a tree on west Deerfield Parkway, between Milwaukee Avenue and Busch Parkway. Firefighters from Buffalo Grove, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods, and Long Grove responded to the scene, where they worked for over an hour to safely extricate the victim. The individual was then transported to Condell Hospital for further medical evaluation.
