Sometimes, the best stories come from unexpected challenges. For the East Dundee Fire District, it all started with a collision that wasn't their fault. Fortunately, no one was injured, but their custom Alexis pumper was damaged and out of commission for a while. With production delays and long wait times becoming more common, they reached out to their trusted partners at Alexis Fire Equipment and their body shop for support. And they didn’t let them down. The team stepped up quickly, helping to repair the rig and even providing a loaner fire engine so East Dundee could continue serving their community without missing a beat. We’re thrilled to share that the engine is now fully repaired and back on duty. It’s a great reminder of what happens when companies truly put their customers first—family-owned, family-driven, and always ready to help.
