I managed to get down to Robbins on December 27th for a full-blown garage fire. The garage was a large 20x40 structure made of brick and looked like it had been filled with a lot of stored items. I captured three of the fire apparatus that responded to the scene. Due to the tight space in a dead-end street, I had to take the photos a bit closer than I usually prefer.

It was an intense call, and the fire was already well developed when we arrived. The crews worked quickly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. It's always interesting to see how different departments respond to similar incidents, and these photos give a good sense of the effort involved. I'm glad I got the chance to capture this moment and share it with others who are interested in fire service operations.
