Garage fire in Robbins, 12-27-17

I arrived at Robbins on December 27th for a full-blown still garage fire. The garage was a large 20x40 structure made of brick and looked like it had a lot of items stored inside. I managed to capture three of the fire trucks that were on scene. Due to the tight space in a dead-end street, I had to take the photos a bit closer than I normally would have liked.

It was an intense scene with multiple units responding. The fire was already well-established when I got there, and the crews worked quickly to contain it. I noticed that the garage was filled with various items, which likely contributed to the intensity of the fire. It's always interesting to see how different departments work together in such situations. I’m glad I could capture these shots, even if the angles weren’t perfect due to the limited space.
