On December 26, 2007, Liaoyang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. achieved 200,000 tons of ethylene cracking, 200,000 tons of ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol, and 1.2 million tons of hydrofining equipment. The construction and driving of these three major projects was the successful completion of the construction drive task within one month after the company completed the two major projects of 30,000 tons of desulphurization/sulfur recovery and 800,000 tons of PTA. After the project is completed and put into production, it will not only provide sufficient raw materials for Liaoyang Petrochemical's polyester production, but also provide room for further expansion of the "diene" resin special materials.
