Luo Luo selects Paramarine marine design software

The Paramarine software developed by QinetiQ GRC has been selected by Rolls-Royce as a marine design software tool to support Luo Luo's newly formed design team to develop military ship design.
Luo Luo has nearly 40 years of experience in designing front-end ships, and has designed more than 800 ships, mainly in the field of merchant ships. The newly established military ship design team will design offshore patrol boats (OPVs) and naval auxiliary vessels for clients such as the Navy, Coast Guard and other maritime authorities.
The gradual shift of merchant marine technology to military technology has become a development trend to achieve cost reduction and performance improvement. Government customers are also looking to build cost-effective and technologically innovative ships. Luo Luo combines ship design with the product chain to provide an integrated “whole ship” solution for the global navy.
