The reporter learned from the press conference of the auto show that there were more than 350 domestic and foreign enterprises participating in the exhibition, and the exhibition area was 60,000 square meters, which is the largest commercial vehicle exhibition in China.

At this exhibition, Mercedes-Benz, Michelin, Dongfeng and other domestic and international commercial vehicle brands and parts and components manufacturers will participate in the exhibition. Nearly 300 vehicles were exhibited, covering heavy trucks, light trucks, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, etc., and an independent exhibition area for parts and components was opened. FAW Jiefang, BAIC, SAIC Iveco, etc. will also bring their newly developed models and products.

The China International Commercial Vehicles Exhibition was developed on the basis of the first three China Special Purpose Vehicles and Components Exhibitions and expanded its scope to the entire commercial vehicle sector. Wang Huanmin, Secretary General of the Special Automobile Branch of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that at present China has become the world’s largest producer and seller of commercial vehicles, but it has always lacked a professional platform for foreign cooperation. This exhibition is the first global commercial auto show built by China's industry resources and is expected to create more opportunities for Chinese auto companies to “go global”.

According to reports, the exhibition was jointly initiated by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Automobile Industry Sub-Committee, and the Hubei Economic and Trade Commission.
