New ambulance for the Hammond FD

Facebook page: A big congratulations goes out to Chief Jeff Smith and the entire team at the Hammond Fire Department for acquiring two brand-new Road Rescue, medium-duty, UltraMedic ambulances. These impressive vehicles are being built on 2022 International MV chassis platforms and feature Road Rescue's 170-inch long, all-aluminum walk-through module with an impressive 72-inch interior headroom. Beyond the standard all-aluminum interior cabinetry and whisper-quiet sound-deadening insulation, these fully customized units come equipped with additional top-of-the-line features such as 6-inch dropped skirts, integrated rear chevron lighting systems, Pioneer LED scene lighting, Brigade 360-degree overhead view camera systems, and Stryker Performance Load Cot Systems. For enhanced safety, they include Per4Max seatbelt restraint systems, fully CN-10 compliant cabinet doors, a safety net at the head of the squad bench, and the innovative LiquidSpring Suspension System for a smoother ride and increased patient comfort. With all these advanced features combined with Road Rescue’s renowned engineering, these ambulances are sure to provide reliable service for years to come.
