Calumet Park Fire Department has officially accepted their new custom pumper truck built on a Fouts Brothers chassis. The apparatus features a 1000-gallon water tank and a powerful 1500-gpm Hale pump, making it well-equipped for a wide range of firefighting scenarios. It will also include a custom Legacy EMS cabinet, an extended front bumper, a mechanical Q siren, and a front bumper discharge after the upfitting is complete.
This new engine is a significant upgrade for the department, reflecting their commitment to safety, efficiency, and modern fire suppression technology. The design highlights the collaboration between Calumet Park FD and Legacy Fire Apparatus, ensuring that the vehicle meets all specific needs of the local emergency services.
