New engine for the Calumet City Fire Department

Calumet City Fire Department

This new apparatus was recently added to the fleet of the Calumet City Fire Department, located in Cook County, Illinois. The unit was manufactured by E-ONE and is a Cyclone Pumper model, delivered in 2023.

The truck features a 530-gallon water tank and is equipped with a Hale 1250-GPM pump for efficient firefighting operations. It also includes advanced lighting and sound systems such as Federal Signal LED warning lights, a Federal Q2B siren, and a Federal Signal Dynamax ES100 speaker for clear communication at the scene.

The fire truck is further enhanced with FireTech 75-inch 12V brow lights for improved visibility, and it's powered by a powerful Cummins L9 engine with 450HP and an EVS3000 transmission, ensuring reliable performance under pressure.
