China's food industry is known for its rich diversity of products, which vary greatly in shape, size, and packaging requirements. As a result, the food processing and packaging sector faces constantly evolving challenges. Each customer has unique needs, demanding advanced and adaptable technologies. In 2006, the industry recognized the importance of innovation and focused on developing 13 key categories of equipment to meet these demands. These included oil processing systems, fruit and vegetable processing technologies, meat processing solutions, dairy production machinery, and convenience food packaging tools. Additionally, the sector emphasized developments in beer and beverage processing, ultrafine grinding, extrusion molding, sterilization, and ripening techniques. Microencapsulation, vacuum refrigeration, and fresh-keeping packaging were also prioritized. Moreover, there was a strong push for comprehensive technical equipment for the deep processing and utilization of agricultural products such as soybeans, rice, corn, and potatoes. This strategic focus aimed to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability across the entire food supply chain.
