On May 24, Anhui Huaihua Group Refined Chemical Company officially completed and launched its carbon monoxide gas plant, marking a significant milestone in the company’s production capacity expansion. For years, the company faced challenges in meeting the high demand for carbon monoxide gas required in its DMF (Dimethyl Formamide) production process. The existing supply was not only insufficient but also lacked the necessary purity and effective purification methods, which hindered the full utilization of its DMF facilities.
To address these issues and unlock greater efficiency, Huaihua Refined Chemical Company invested in advanced technologies to build a dedicated carbon monoxide gas project. This initiative aims to enhance production capabilities and improve product quality, ultimately boosting profitability. The project utilizes a patented technology developed by the National Coal Chemical Engineering Design Technology Center, known as the "carbon dioxide and oxygen gasification of coke to produce high-purity carbon monoxide complete industrialization new process." This technology is at the forefront of domestic innovation and represents a major step forward in the industry.
Once fully operational, the plant can produce 4,000 standard cubic meters of high-purity carbon monoxide per hour, effectively overcoming previous limitations in gas purity and quality that constrained DMF production. This improvement not only supports increased output but also enhances the overall profitability of the company's products. Additionally, the high-purity carbon monoxide serves as a valuable raw material for the development of various carbon-based chemicals, such as formic acid, methyl formate, and dimethyl carbonate, providing a solid foundation for future growth and diversification within the Huaihua Group.
