Liande Conch Cement Co., Ltd. has recently held a feasibility study meeting for its low-temperature waste heat power generation project at the Huanglong Moon Bay Hotel in Jiande City. The event was organized under the guidance of several key local authorities, including the Zhejiang Economic and Trade Commission, provincial power company, Hangzhou Economic Commission, Hangzhou Environmental Protection Bureau, Jiande Economic Development Bureau, Power Supply Bureau, Planning Bureau, Safety Bureau, and Water Conservancy Bureau.
During the meeting, delegates listened to a detailed presentation by Sinoma International Co., Ltd. on the contents of the feasibility study report. They also conducted an on-site inspection and engaged in thorough discussions. The project's feasibility was unanimously approved, marking it as the first pure low-temperature waste heat power generation project in Hangzhou to successfully pass the review.
The project is part of Liande Conch Cement’s efforts to improve energy efficiency and promote sustainable development. Established in 2003, the company operates a 4,000-ton-per-day cement clinker production line. The new low-temperature waste heat power generation system will utilize the residual heat from both the kiln head and kiln tail to generate electricity, thereby achieving efficient resource utilization and reducing environmental impact.
This initiative not only helps alleviate energy shortages in Jiande but also contributes to the city’s economic growth. Moreover, it serves as a model for promoting resource conservation and the circular economy, demonstrating how industrial enterprises can integrate sustainability into their operations while supporting long-term development.
