Hubei Suizhou Dadi Chemical Co., Ltd. has recently benefited from its commitment to energy conservation and efficiency improvements. The company has been recognized for its efforts, as its synthetic ammonia-linked alcohol system energy-saving renovation project was selected in the 2007 financial incentive program for energy-saving technological transformation, announced by the National Development and Reform Commission.
Established through the acquisition of Hubei Tianli Chemical Co., Ltd.'s nitrogen fertilizer plant by Hubei Xinhong Phosphorus Chemical Co., Ltd., Suizhou Dadi Chemical has made significant strides in optimizing its production processes. The energy-saving project involves upgrading outdated boiling boilers, modernizing raw material and gas-making systems, and enhancing waste heat recovery mechanisms. Once completed, the project is expected to save approximately 16,884 tons of standard coal annually, leading to a financial reward of 4.22 million yuan.
In Hubei Province, a total of 26 projects were submitted for national evaluation, but only 14 were ultimately approved for the energy-saving incentive program. This reflects the competitive nature of the initiative, with the national program including a total of 229 approved projects across the country. For Suizhou Dadi Chemical, this recognition not only highlights its dedication to sustainable development but also serves as a model for other companies seeking to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
