Hubei Suizhou Dadi Chemical Co., Ltd. has recently benefited from its commitment to energy conservation and emission reduction. The company recently received recognition as its synthetic ammonia-linked alcohol system energy-saving renovation project was included in the 2007 financial incentive program for energy-saving technological transformation, announced by the National Development and Reform Commission.
The project, which was initiated by Hubei Xinhong Phosphorus Chemical Co., Ltd. after acquiring the former Hubei Tianli Chemical Co., Ltd. nitrogen fertilizer plant, involves several key upgrades. These include replacing outdated boiling boilers, modernizing raw material and gas-making systems, and improving waste heat recovery processes. Once completed, the project is expected to save approximately 16,884 tons of standard coal annually, leading to a financial bonus of 4.22 million yuan for the company.
In Hubei Province, a total of 26 projects were submitted for the national energy-saving initiative, but only 14 were selected for the reward program. This highlights the competitive nature of the program, with a total of 229 projects nationwide receiving support. For Suizhou Dadi Chemical, this recognition not only brings financial benefits but also reinforces its position as a leader in sustainable industrial practices. The success of this project serves as an example for other companies looking to adopt energy-efficient technologies and reduce their environmental footprint.
