Liande Conch Cement Co., Ltd., under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, provincial power company, Hangzhou Municipal Economic Commission, Hangzhou Environmental Protection Bureau, Jiande Economic Development Bureau, Power Supply Bureau, Planning Bureau, Safety Supervision Bureau, and Water Resources Bureau, recently held a feasibility study meeting for its low-temperature waste heat power generation project at the Huanglong Moon Bay Hotel in Jiande City.
Delegates attended the meeting, listened to a detailed presentation on the feasibility report prepared by Sinoma International Co., Ltd., and conducted an on-site inspection and thorough discussions. The project was ultimately approved, with the design team's feasibility study being endorsed. This marks the first pure low-temperature waste heat power generation project in Hangzhou that has successfully passed the review.
Liande Conch Cement Co., Ltd. established a 4,000-ton-per-day cement clinker production line in 2003. The new low-temperature waste heat power generation project aims to fully utilize the waste heat from both the kiln head and kiln tail of this production line, converting it into electricity through a purely thermal recovery system. This initiative not only enhances resource efficiency but also contributes to sustainable development.
The implementation of this project is expected to significantly ease the pressure on local energy supply and support regional economic growth. Moreover, it serves as a model for promoting resource conservation and circular economy practices in Jiande, setting a positive example for future industrial development in the area.
