La Grange was called out for a garage fire on Tuesday evening at 102 Blackstone. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 25x25 garage fully involved in flames. The first engine crew quickly deployed a line and started applying foam, while Pleasantview’s quint unit followed up with a second line. It looked like a serious situation, but the crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control.
