Recently, the technical center of Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. conducted a comprehensive system inspection on the zinc-iron alloyed galvanized coils produced by the steel rolling galvanizing line in the new district. The results from various tests, including the cup convex test, surface topography scanning, Fe content energy spectrum analysis, and mechanical property testing, all met the required standards for alloyed products. This achievement marks a significant milestone, as it demonstrates that Maanshan's new district has successfully bridged the gap in the production of alloyed galvanized coils. The successful trial run has also provided valuable experience for future production of automotive panels.
In the production of galvanized coils, the alloying process is a critical step where the zinc layer is directly annealed after the galvanization of the steel strip. Technically, when the strip is heated to temperatures between 500°C and 550°C in the alloying furnace, the pure zinc coating reacts with the iron in the steel substrate, forming a zinc-iron alloy layer. These alloyed galvanized products are widely used in the automotive industry due to their attractive appearance, excellent coating properties, and good weldability. More importantly, their superior corrosion resistance makes them highly favored by customers.
To ensure the smooth implementation of the alloying process, the technical quality department of Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., along with the cold rolling inspection room, galvanizing branch, production planning department, and foreign SV experts, held detailed discussions on key aspects such as speed control, Fe content regulation, and the overall production process. Issues like soaking temperature feedback were thoroughly analyzed, leading to the development of a complete set of commissioning plans. After careful coordination and deployment, the No. 1 galvanizing line was officially launched for the production of automotive sheets, and the new zinc-iron alloyed products entered trial production.
Throughout the trial phase, operators and technicians maintained continuous communication with the foreign SV team, successfully addressing several technical challenges, including iron content control, alloying furnace power management, and line speed optimization. Additionally, improvements were made to the automatic control system for strip specifications, ensuring stable and high-quality production. This project not only enhances Maanshan's technical capabilities but also strengthens its position in the competitive global steel market.
A home electric vehicle charger is a device that provides convenient charging for electric vehicles. We can install and use it at home. Common home chargers include wall-mounted charging stations and portable chargers, such as QINGYUAN's portable charger, which supports a variety of voltage and current specifications and is suitable for electric vehicles compatible with J1772. When we choose a home charger, we need to consider factors such as charging speed, installation space, and connection method.
