According to the latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in August 2007, the top ten automotive companies in the country were SAIC, FAW, Dongfeng, Changan, BAIC, GAC, Chery, Brilliance, JAC, and Geely. Compared to the previous month, most of these manufacturers experienced growth, with only Guangzhou Automobile (GAC) showing a slight decline. Among the others, Dongfeng, Changan, and Jianghuai saw more significant increases in sales. In total, these ten companies sold 568,700 vehicles during the month, representing 84.68% of the overall automobile market. This highlights the strong dominance of these major players in China's rapidly expanding automotive sector. The growth figures reflect the continued momentum in domestic demand and the improving efficiency of production and distribution across the industry.
