The research group of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee Financial and Economic Committee recently warmed up and conducted research on the product quality and food safety in Wenzhou. It is reported that last year, Wenzhou confirmed the adoption of 268 corporate products using international standards and advanced foreign standards. Thus far, a total of 1,544 products in the city have reached such standards, effectively pushing forward the construction of product quality and enhancing the company's international competitiveness.

Last year, Wenzhou also launched a special campaign to rectify product quality and food safety, and steadily promoted quality improvement. There are 6 new Chinese brand-name products in the city, a total of 38; 23 new national inspection-free products with a total number of 157; 75 new brand names in Zhejiang, with a total of 210, and brand names above the provincial level continue to rank among the same in the country. Forefront of the city, Wenzhou product quality image has been effectively improved.
During the warm period, the research group convened the relevant departments of the municipal government to conduct a discussion, and visited some enterprises and markets on the spot to understand in depth the product quality and food safety.
