According to Shen Hao, the chairman of Yanchang Petroleum Group, Shaanxi Province is rich in natural resources, including oil, gas, coal, and salt. Seizing this opportunity, the group plans to accelerate the development of related energy and chemical industries. Guided by the principles of "macro-regional planning, large-scale industrial construction, strong group leadership, and substantial project support," the company is working to build an integrated industrial system that includes oil, gas, coal, and salt-based chemical industries, as well as equipment manufacturing. In 2007, Yanchang Petroleum achieved significant milestones, with each of the three key indicators—crude oil production, refining, and sales—exceeding 10 million tons.
