FreeCAD is an open-source parametric 3D modeling software designed for creating real-world objects of any size. It's widely used in engineering, product design, and prototyping due to its flexibility and powerful features.

Now, after completing your 3D design in FreeCAD, you can directly place an order on PCBWay with just one click. This seamless integration allows you to send your designs to production without leaving your design environment.

Once your design is ready, FreeCAD will export the necessary step files, which you can then upload to PCBWay. After uploading, simply click "Save to Cart" to proceed with your order. Our team of engineers will review the files before starting the manufacturing process, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Install the PCBWay Add-on from FreeCAD’s Official Tools

To install the PCBWay plugin, go to the “Tools” menu, select “Addon Manager,” and choose “PCBWay” from the list. Click install, and you’re all set to start sending your designs directly to PCBWay.

Manual Installation Instructions

If you prefer to install manually, you can download the latest version of the PCBWay plugin from GitHub at https://github.com/pcbway/PCBWay-Plug-in-for-FreeCAD. Once downloaded, navigate to the “Macro” section in FreeCAD, place the Python file in the correct directory, and click “Execute” to run the plugin.
