Rolls-Royce has announced that it has received orders for design and equipment packages for Brazilian ship owner Brasil Supply's two marine service vessels with an order value of £15 million.
It is reported that the two new ships are designed for the Rolls-Royce UT775 E type. Upon completion, they will be leased to Petrobras to transport fluids and solid cargo for offshore oil and gas platforms. The new vessel will be built by Estaleiro Ilha, Brazil and is expected to be delivered in 2013. It will be equipped with the Rohschild integrated equipment system, including propulsion systems, deck machinery and ship control systems.
