The front airbag of the passenger seat of some vehicles within this recall range is equipped with an ammonium nitrate gas generator without a desiccant produced by Takada. When the airbag is deployed, the gas generator of the above airbag may be abnormally damaged, causing debris to fly out and injuring the inside of the vehicle, posing a safety hazard.
Chrysler (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. will replace the front passenger seat front airbag gas generator for vehicles within the recall range to eliminate defects.
