China's first 135MW ultra-high pressure reheat circulating fluidized bed boiler, independently developed by Jinan Boiler Group, has successfully passed the hydraulic test and is set to officially start operations on the 28th of this month. This milestone marks a significant advancement in China's energy technology sector.
The boiler, designed for Ningxia Coal and Power Co., Ltd., is a key project under the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. As coal remains a primary energy source in China, the efficient use of circulating fluidized bed boilers plays a crucial role in promoting energy conservation and reducing environmental pollution. These advanced systems are essential for achieving sustainable development goals.
Currently, only about half of the ultra-high pressure 440t/h fluidized bed boilers currently in operation in China function properly. Recognizing this challenge, Jinan Boiler Group pursued an independent innovation path, integrating both domestic and international cutting-edge technologies. Within just over a year, they successfully developed the first 135MW ultra-high pressure reheat circulating fluidized bed boiler, which meets global industry standards.
This achievement not only highlights the company's technical capabilities but also underscores China's growing commitment to developing clean and efficient energy solutions. The new boiler is expected to significantly improve operational efficiency while minimizing emissions, offering a model for future power generation projects across the country.
Energy Storage Integrated Cabinet

The 100kW/215kWh liquid-cooled energy storage cabinet adopts an integrated design concept, highly integrating the battery system, BMS (Battery Management System), PCS (Power Conditioning System), EMS (Energy Management System), fire protection system and other systems. It features flexible deployment and is equipped with functions such as peak shaving and valley filling, demand management, dynamic capacity expansion, and power demand response, which can meet the needs of various energy storage applications.

- It uses high-quality, long-life lithium iron phosphate batteries, paired with an advanced BMS, and is equipped with multi-level active early warning and protection, as well as multiple electrical protection and fire-fighting systems to ensure safety and stability.
- The highly integrated modular architecture supports on-demand deployment, flexible expansion and rapid construction, with strong scenario adaptability.
- The modular battery module design enables single-sided maintenance, and the built-in intelligent local monitoring can accurately locate faults, making operation and maintenance easier.
- It also has intelligent constant temperature control for batteries, a high-protection structure (suitable for outdoor use), supports grid-connected operation, can independently adjust active/reactive power, realizes low-voltage ride-through, and has complete fault and operation log records.
The application scenarios are flexible and diverse:

- A single energy storage cabinet can be used in grid-connected mode.
- For grid-connected operation of multiple cabinets, additional accessories and software need to be selected (supporting a maximum of 8 parallel units).
- Off-grid operation of a single or multiple cabinets (the output power is less than 200kW when multiple cabinets are off-grid) can also be realized through selection.
- If grid dispatching function is required, the corresponding software version must be configured.
- If anti-reverse current and transformer power protection are needed, current transformers and electricity meters must be installed on the low-voltage side of the 400V transformer.
