Jiguo developed China's first 135MW ultra-high pressure reheat boiler

China's first 135MW ultra-high pressure reheat circulating fluidized bed boiler, independently developed by Jinan Boiler Group, has successfully passed the hydraulic test and is set to officially start operations on the 28th of this month. This milestone marks a significant advancement in China's energy infrastructure and showcases the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability. The new boiler is designed for Ningxia Coal and Power Co., Ltd. and serves as a key project under the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region's development plan. As coal remains a dominant energy source in China, the efficient use of advanced technologies like circulating fluidized bed boilers plays a crucial role in improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact. These systems help minimize emissions while maximizing fuel utilization, making them an essential part of China's green energy strategy. Currently, only about half of the ultra-high pressure 440t/h fluidized bed boilers operating across China are functioning at optimal levels. In response to this challenge, Jinan Boiler Group has focused on independent research and development, integrating both domestic and international best practices. Within just over a year, the company successfully launched its first 135MW ultra-high pressure reheat circulating fluidized bed boiler, which meets global industry standards. This achievement not only highlights Jinan Boiler Group's technical capabilities but also reflects China's growing emphasis on developing high-efficiency, low-emission power generation solutions.
