·Jinjiang City, Fujian Province will gradually phase out the yellow standard car

The Jinjiang Municipal Transportation Bureau of Fujian Province recently issued a notice requesting Jinjiang City to handle the operation of the Yellow Road Vehicle and the old vehicle of the Road Transport Certificate. Recently, it went to the Traffic Approval Bureau of the Administrative Approval Center to go through the formalities for cancellation of the Road Transport Certificate. The handling will be forcibly cancelled according to law.

According to the requirements of “Implementation Plan for the Elimination of Yellow Label Vehicles and Old Vehicles in Quanzhou City” (Quan Environmental Protection [2015] No. 42), Jinjiang will completely phase out the yellow label vehicles registered before the end of 2005 by the end of 2015, and will be comprehensive in 2017. Eliminate the operation of the yellow standard car.

The relevant person in charge of the Jinjiang Municipal Transportation Bureau said that the targets for this phase-out include the operating yellow-label vehicles and old vehicles registered in the Jinjiang area. Among them, the yellow standard vehicle refers to the diesel vehicle with the emission level lower than the national first emission standard and the national three emission standard. The old vehicle refers in principle to the vehicle that does not meet the current national fourth-stage emission standard.

At present, the Jinjiang Municipal Transportation Bureau will not issue the “Road Transportation Certificate” to vehicles that have not obtained the Green Environmental Inspection Qualification Mark and the Safety Technology Inspection Qualification Mark, and will not apply for the annual inspection procedures for the “Road Transportation Certificate”.
